Like most EMS providers who have been at this for any length of time I have developed the necessary characteristics to survive in the field (ADD, Insomnia, Cockiness and a touch of Bi-Polar thrown in for good measures.)
I have been a Paramedic for about 2 years now. Prior to that I spent 17 years as a Basic EMT. I know procrastination if a bitch. I am also an Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatcher and a Hazmat Technician.
A couple of months ago I moved from Ohio to SE Texas. I am now working for one of the largest 911 providers in the country and loving it.
